The jewelry is considered waterproof and scratch resistant. We gold-plate the jewelry with a thick layer of gold/platinum. Finally, the jewelry is finished with an e-coat layer, which qualifies it to pass waterproof tests.
The durability of gold plating depends on how you care for your jewelry. We recommend taking your jewelry off when you shower or go to bed. Avoid contact with chemicals such as chlorine, perfumes and body lotions. When worn daily "day and night", your jewelry will retain its shine and color for several months - up to a year.
